The new additions to our library of music are the remastered recordings of the “Deutschmeisters Orchestra”, “The Jolly Fishermen”, & “Jerry Notsch & The Minnesota Dutchmen”. These recordings were made by some of Central Minnesota’s favorite polka bands. Great care was taken to preserve these fine recordings. I am happy to make these wonderful recordings available to you through our music service! We are adding even more recordings to the CPMS Music Library.

Three of the latest additions to our CPMS library of music are “Peanuts” by the Deutschmeisters “Deutschmeisters and Friends” a two CD set of great polka music. and “No Beer In Heaven” by the Deutschmeisters. No beer in heaven was the fifth recording by Tony and Betty Wolf, performing with some of the most talented Central Minnesota musicians of the era. It is a recording that has been remastered to CD to preserve the quality of the fine musicianship presented on this great album. The latest addition to our CPMS library of music is the remastered recording of Jerry Notsch and “The Minnesota Dutchmen”. This is another by one of Central Minnesota’s favorite polka bands. The band was organized in 1961 by Jerry Notsch and Don Vouk, and as time went on they added new members, till they grew to the six piece band they are today. The members are: Jerry Notsch - Drums Don Vouk - Concertina Lawrence Sobiech - Sax Don Anderson - Sax & Clarinet Charlie Torborg - Bass Horn Jerry Schindler - Electric Guitar As with our other offerings great care was taken to preserve this fine recording. |
